Vernauwing - Mis en étroit - Narrownes

Een psycho-analytische benadering.

Deze werken benaderen de herinnering vanuit psycho-analytisch perspectief. De tentoonstelling - in situ geconcipieëerd - zoekt aansluiting met de architecturaal gebiedende omgeving van  het oude art-deco zwembad "St François les Bains", tegenwoordig beter bekend als kunstencentrum Bains::Connective. Op de vernissage vernietigde Scheirs bij wijze van happening een kunstwerk dat hij speciaal maakte voor en in Les Bains.

Nouvelles peintures jettent un regard psychoanalytique sur que lques aspects du souvenir. Elles entament en même temps le dialogue avec l'environnement architectural de B::C. 

Puis il y aura aussi un happening, la destruction d'un oeuvre unique.

The exposition, featuring mainly new paintings, approaches memory from a psycho-analytical point of view. The exposition was concieved 'in situ' and searches to interact with the commanding ArDeco architecture of the former swimmingpool "St François les Bains", now operating as an art-centre within one of Brussels inner communities. At the opening the artist destroyed, by ways of a happening, his own, exclusivly for the swimmingpool concieved, artwork.
